Experience a blend of heritage, and tradition as the beachfront resort embraces the spirit of Ramadan and decks up into mini Bedouin tents with low cushion seating in the lobby along with traditional Arabic coffee and dates. Olival lines up a flavorful journey with traditional and mouth-watering delicacies as its authentic Iftar buffet boasts a selection of traditional Arabic cuisine along with an array of International delights to serve all palates.

Guests can soak in the tradition with its Arabic décor in the relaxed, outdoor setting of Olival The buffet will feature an enticing spread of delicacies from across the world including an assortment of Iftar specialities and Ramadan juices, a selection of Arabic hot and cold mezzeh; live grill stations for grills, Shawarma, and lamb Ouzi, as well as a variety of delectable Arabic sweets and desserts.

Suhoor – 

In continuation to the delightful Iftar buffet and the al fresco dining, for those who prefer an exquisite Suhoor, Salamar lounge is the perfect place to be at. The outdoor venue boasts views of the green lawns and the skyline along with Arabic Majlis & seating giving it a Bedouin ambiance. The open-air lounge will also feature traditional artifacts about the UAE, picture opportunity camel stands, and mini tents showcasing the history of the UAE culture.The guests can enjoy exceptional performances by traditional Oud player and relish a traditional Suhoor menu paired with your favorite shisha and a choice of more than 10 flavors with refreshing beverages, leading to a perfect evening.

Available every day throughout the holy month of Ramadan from sunset to 8:30 pm.

Suhoor at Salamar  – 9:00 pm to 2:30am.

My family and I visited Olival Restaurant for Iftar, it is a casual dining venue serving Mediterranean cuisine.

From the moment that you enter you will see the nice seating in the garden area covered with strings of lights just giving a cozy touch to the venue.

I was super amazed by the variety of Appetizers, Main dishes & desserts.

You break your fast with not only one but two kinds of soups then you will go along the long table of appetizers you don’t know what to choose from the variety of Arabic hot & cold appetizers & the fresh Salads they have something for everyone don’t worry if you are on a diet either.

A life station of Shawarma & noodles is where you can choose the ingredients that you want & the Chef will do it to your taste.
Now we go for the main dishes (my favourite part of any buffet) the variety includes Arabic, Eastern & International Dishes.
Such as Mixed Arabic Grill, Maqloobeh, & the King of all Dishes Lamb with Oriental Rice, Kofta with Tahini.

Alongside some Asian dishes such as Butter Chicken, Beef, Shrimps & Salmon seafood dishes.

All made to perfection.
The taste.. the presentation.. Not a single fault.
Now after resting a little, I went to try the Desserts.. so so many varieties of them : Cakes, puddings, Arabic sweets, and Fruits.

Believe me, you have to try this Amazing Iftar.
You will go home pleased relaxed after such delicious food & welcoming hospitality.
