Galaxy Z Flip3 Endures More Than 142 Hours of Folding Livestream and 418,502 Folds

Galaxy Z Flip3 has been found to endure 418 502 folds for over 143 hours of the manual folding test. Polish independent tech YouTuber Kuba Klawiter (Mrkeybrd) conducted a folding test on the Galaxy Z Flip3 in a live streaming format on YouTube. Starting in June, the test has been conducted for more than 142 hours (#5 days, 22 hours, 30 minutes) and Galaxy Z Flip3 endured 418 502 folds. At 275,000 folds, the device was put in folding-unfolding motion covered in dust. Galaxy Z Flip3’s hinge, specially designed to repel dust, has successfully prevented the particles from getting inside. The stream was not sponsored by Samsung or any other company. As Samsung communicates, Galaxy Z series devices undergo rigorous folding tests to outlast 200,000 folds — or around five years of use if folded and unfolded 100 times a day.
