Mall of the Emirates Invites Visitors to embrace the spirit of Ramadan with an array of activities including the First Online Shoppable Market
- The first online shoppable market will offer a seamless experience for both visitors and exhibitors
Dubai, UAE – 30 March 2023: Mall of the Emirates, owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim, is inviting guests to celebrate Ramadan with a host of activities and initiatives throughout the Holy Month.
Zeman Awwal – the cultural hub inspired by Emirati heritage, nestled within Mall of the Emirates – continues to fuse culture and tradition to create an engaging experience for locals, residents and tourists, with Ramadan talks held each week. Discussions will be centred around Ramadan etiquette, table art, modest fashion and healthy eating habits whilst fasting.
With the intent of preserving these special traditions and legacies, an additional Ramadaniyat Market will be located at the mall’s West End next to Ski Dubai. The market will feature various homegrown businesses offering unique items and pieces dedicated to the Holy Month. As Mall of the Emirates remains dedicated to the art of convenience, both markets are now available online for customers to shop from with ease for their last minute giftings.
Supporting the wider community, Mall of the Emirates is partnering with Mawaheb – an initiative which curates experiences for artistic expression for people of determination –will support families through a display of products and live art showcases.

In addition to the in-mall experience, shoppers can purchase items from Ramadaniyat Market online as part of a new omnichannel initiative which seems to provide a seamless experience for shoppers, no matter their preference for online or in-mall shopping. This is also in-line with with our objective to support home grown and regional brands and start-ups designers
