In his comments, TM Roh said “Our vision is to become an innovator of new mobile experiences and the success of the Galaxy S22 series is living proof of that commitment. We take a user-centric approach to innovation – we listen to what they tell us they want and deeply value their feedback, which we use to innovate devices that we know will enrich their lives in meaningful ways.”.
In relation to MENA recent S22 successful launch, Alex Lim, Samsung Electronics President of MENA, said “the middle east smartphone business is growing every year and the S22 is selling well. We are grateful for the customer’s response as we are showing more than 25% higher sales performance than S21. More important than sales, however, is the satisfaction of Middle Eastern and Moroccan customers.”
Samsung also recently announced the sustainability vision and TM Roh said “We cannot push the boundaries of technology without recognizing the impact of our actions on the world around us. Guided by our sustainability vision, Galaxy for the Planet, Samsung puts delivering positive environmental impact at the center of our innovations. The Galaxy S22 series represented a crucial step in that journey, as the first smartphone that incorporates recycled ocean-bound plastic made from discarded fishing nets. We’ve continued to use recycled ocean-bound plastic in key components of our Galaxy Tab S8 series and Galaxy Book 2 Pro series.”
